How do I find the theatre?
We are based in Hope Mill, 113 Pollard St, in Ancoats. We are a three-minute walk from New Islington Metrolink Station, which is one stop over from Manchester Piccadilly.
Tram Accessibility:
Every Manchester Tram stop has: a ramp, lift, or escalator, step-free access for wheelchair users and people with pushchairs, CCTV and emergency call-points, platforms with tactile edges for visually impaired passengers.
Every Manchester Tram has: an area for people who use wheelchairs, space for pushchairs, seats marked for people who have trouble standing, emergency call points.
By Car:
We are equidistant from Great Ancoats Street, and the A6010 (near Etihad Football Stadium). Traffic on match days can be heavy and congested. Please leave ample time to travel.

Do you take card at the theatre?
Hope Mill Theatre is now cashless. We now only accept card and contactless payments in our Box Office and Bar/Restaurant.
Do you have parking?
There is a free carpark at Hope Mill Theatre, however we cannot guarantee availability. There is also street parking available, but this may be limited on days where there is a game at Etihad Stadium.
Do you offer pre-show dining?
Yes, the Engine Room Café is open 90 minutes ahead of performance. Take a look at our menu on the page on our website named “Restaurant”.
Do you offer Concession tickets?
This depends on the production. Where offered, we have concessionary rates for Over 65s, Under 16s, Students and Equity Members.
Do you offer discounted tickets for Essential Companions?
We offer 50% discounts to our Essential Companion bookers.
I have additional access requirements, what should I do?
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team in a way that suits you best. We will do everything we can to ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Hope Mill Theatre is on one level, with all doorways widened for wheelchair access. Please get in touch in a way that suits you best to book our wheelchair space for a performance.
Do you offer accessible performances?
As a Producing Venue, we endeavour to add as many accessible performances as possible for our in-house shows. These will be displayed on the Event Page for the production.
We encourage, and guide our Visiting Companies to make accessibility a priority when producing shows.
Accessible performances at Hope Mill Theatre may include:
Relaxed Performances, Audio Described Performances, BSL Interpreted Performances, Captioned Performances, and Baby Friendly Performances.

Can I receive a refund?
We are unable to offer refunds on ticket bookings.
Can I transfer my tickets to another performance?
At the discretion of the venue, and subject to availability, we can move your booking to another performance. This will incur a £2.50 admin charge. Please call or email the box office to arrange this.
I am unable to move my booking, what are my options?
At the discretion of the venue, we can credit your Hope Mill Theatre account. This will mean that over the next 12 months you can use the value of your ticket booking against another purchase via our website. If you have any questions please do be in touch.
