Building Hope

We are in the final stages of creating our Community Hub next to the theatre – a permanent home for so many of the groups that make our theatre such a special place. It will provide dedicated space for our theatre school, choir, orchestra and amateur dramatics groups – around 300 participants –  as well as becoming the home of our new BA degree course, which launches this September. We’re incredibly excited that local young people will soon be able to pursue a professional career in theatre without having to move away or face the significant costs that often come with studying elsewhere.

We’ve come such a long way in our mission to create the Hub, but we need your help to get over the line! That’s why we’ve launched this campaign to raise the remaining £60,000 needed to finish the work and create the welcoming, accessible and lasting community space we’ve always dreamed of.

The centrepiece of the campaign is our online auction, with some wonderful money-can’t-buy experiences and prizes. These include dinner with Russell T Davis, exclusive tickets to West End shows, press night invitations along with many other unique experiences.

On the 11th August at 7.30pm we will be ‘Getting our Heads in the Game’ for a musical theatre Quiz – Hosted by I Love Manchester’s Michelle Eagleton
