Family Fun Day

Hope Mill Theatre with the support from the Lottery Heritage Fund present our Family Fun Day.

This year marks 200 years of Hope Mill! Built in 1824 Hope Mill was one of the earliest developments in industrial Ancoats and operated as a Fustian Weaving and Cotton Spinning Mill. Once the beating heart of the industrial community, 200 years later, Hope Mill Theatre the beating creative heart of the community will host a special Family Fun Day and Makers Market.

Music – carnival – Food – Donkeys

COME ALONG AND EXPERIENCE A TRADITIONAL VICTORIAN STYLE FUN FAIR, AS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 200 YEARS AGO. WITH LOTS OF FUN AND EXCITING ATTRACTIONS ON OFFER. STALLS AND RIDES.

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE ICE CREAM CONE WAS INVENTED IN ANCOATS, MANCHESTER?

THAT IS WHY WE WILL BE OFFERING ALL OUR ATTENDEES A FREE ICE CREAM!

PLEASE NOTE – there will be no general parking for this event. We have some accessible spaces available for blue badge holders – please email boxoffice@hopemilltheatre.co.uk to reserve these.
