TURN ON FEST: Superbia presents New Theatre Writing

Superbia presents new work in development from two of Manchester’s emerging theatre makers.

Maz Hedgehog and Julia Brown offer new theatrical work making its first appearance on stage in the city. Maz is a renowned poet, Superbia Chapbook author and established live performer who is making the transition into longer solo stage works.

Julia’s new work brings to life three different couples with distinct voices and experiences.

Superbia is excited to offer extracts from these new exciting works on stage for TURN ON Festival at Hope Mill Theatre.
Performances will be followed by the chance to speak to the writers to help them consider and develop this work for future outings.

TURN ON FEST is a new LGBTQ+ Festival, hosted by Hope Mill Theatre, in collaboration with Superbia (at Manchester Pride) and Mother’s Ruin. See the full list of events.
