8th January 2019

It’s the best start to the year we could ask for!

Our fantastic production of Spring Awakening, which played in 2018 to astounding critical and audience reaction, has the honour of being nominated for not one, but two incredible awards!

Firstly, we’re nominated for BEST THEATRE SHOW at this year’s Manchester Evening News City Life Awards 2019 alongside the cream of the theatrical crop from across Manchester this year. After last year’s nomination for Pippin, we are thrilled to be representing the city’s smaller stages once again.

We’re also up for the 2019 WhatsOnStage Award for BEST REGIONAL PRODUCTION amongst some truly spectacular shows from across the country.

We are utterly thrilled to be nominated for a WOS Award again after Hair was nominated in two categories last year, and brought home a trophy to our Ancoats home.

Both awards are open to a public vote, meaning you can support the Spring Awakening cast and team, and the Hope Mill, by voting for us. We’re so proud to be a small theatre making a big mark, both Nationally and in the great City of Manchester, and we wouldn’t be doing that with all of your support and love.

All you need in order to vote is an email address and 2 minutes of your time, so if you’re looking for moment away from New Year mania, click on the links below:
