Summer Intensive Acting Workshop 8th – 14th August at Hope Mill Theatre

Hot off the heels of our first in-house production Parade the Musical, which sold out on multiple nights and received rave reviews in Manchester and beyond (you can read one incredible write up by Nortwestend here), we decided to put together a week long acting workshop for pre & post-professional performers. It's an ideal opportunity for young actors wishing to hone their skills, network in the industry, meet new friends and make new contacts to perform in beautiful space. We really are blossoming into Manchester's best platform for you to showcase your talent from and are being hailed as one of Manchester's most promising new fringe theatre venues. Parade The Musical at Hope Mill Theatre

If you've popped into our cafe / bar the last couple of weeks you'll have undoubtedly overheard the enthusiastic cast of Parade rehearsing. After holding our Gala preview last Thurs we're certain it's set to be a success! Aria Entertainment, James Baker Productions and Hope Mill Theatre have joined forces to bring a hard-hitting, literary adaptation of Alfred Uhry's novel set a century ago in deep South America to Manchester, and it's lost none of it's fire or force. Manchester Welcomes Hope Mill Theatre

Our first ever event was a very special (and somewhat bonkers) private party for a 30th birthday in Oct 2015. We had drag performers, aerial artists, lip-syncing cabaret and performers roaming all over and a very happy birthday girl in the middle! Holding the event on Halloween, the theme was ‘American Horror Story Hotel’, and our venue was turned into twisted playground for freaks and ghouls to frolic in. What a way to start!
